Project:  Core Network (Road Corridor VIII): Construction of Motorway A2, Section Gostivar - Kicevo, Subsection Gostivar - Gorna Gjonovica

Description: The motorway section A2 Gostivar - Kichevo (42 km) is part of the SEETO and TEN-T Core Network extension into the Western Balkans connecting the Black Sea with the Adriatic Sea. This section is the main road route in the country, with a total length of 305 km from the border with Bulgaria (Deve Bair) to the border with Albania (Kjafaasan), 62% of the country’s population being directly connected and benefiting from its development.
