Description: To support the establishment of an Inter-Regional Waste Management structure in E&NE Regions and support its operation, increase the capacity and capabilities of the municipalities, Public Utility Companies and Regional Waste Management Centers (within the Centre for Regional Development) in performing their duties arising from the regional waste management system, to update the Regional Waste Management planning documents and to raise public awareness and increase public participation in order to reduce waste generation, increase waste recovery and reduce littering.
