Project:  Streamline the use of para-fiscal charges

Description: The overall objective of the assignment is to support the Ministry of Economy to optimize, consolidate and streamline the PFCs in the country through specific goals consisting of:
1. Improve the transparency and predictability of the parafiscal levies by creating a legal and institutional set-up for introducing, monitoring and modifying levies with PFCs features.
2. Increase the capacity of the public authorities (the ministries) to optimize, consolidate and prevent the introduction of unjustified PFCs.
3. Optimize, consolidate, and streamline at least 100 parafiscal charges applied to businesses.
4. Increase public awareness about PFCs among the business community.
