: The action will contribute to the overall and specific objective of the call, as well as the objectives of Priority areas 2 and 3, as it aims at strengthening the capacity of municipalities and local CSOs in MK, and in particular youth and sports organisations, and contributing to the prevention of violent extremism; and it will do so by offering young people with reduced opportunities (esp. young women) better chances to become pro-active participants in society, while helping them build resilience and improve their personal development skills. More specifically, the action?s objectives are: a) to support CSOs to implement innovative approaches towards empowering young people with reduced opportunities to contribute, through the medium of sports, to processes that encourage social cohesion and to lead social initiatives (such as the establishment of Social Action Youth/Sports Hubs-SAYSHs) which prevent VE and radicalisation in specific municipalities/districts in MK; b) to enhance collaboration with (and among) local authorities and build trust and dialogue with them; c) to enable CSOs to have a more active role in policy-making and dialogue through capacity-building and advocacy at local, national and EU levels.
