Project:  Corporate Social responsibility and Business Angels - driving force for private sector development (IPA/2023/444-306 (EC) / OPSYS ctr ref : 300064081)

Description: The project ?Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Angels: Driving force for private sector development? aims to improve the SMEs ability to compete in developed markets, by creating favourable ecosystem for operation of business angels/venture investors and developing practices of corporate social responsibility in companies, bearing in mind the integration of persons with disabilities and indigenous peoples and the promotion of gender equality.

The project comprises of two main components (Figure 1):
? Developing policy framework for further improvement of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in companies
? Creating favourable ecosystem for business angels (BA)

Component 1 aims at providing a set of guidelines and principles that companies can follow to ensure that their activities align with ethical and socially responsible practices by improving their social and environmental impact, enhancing stakeholder engagement, strengthening brand reputation, mitigating risks for noncompliance with the regulatory framework and fostering innovation.

Component 2 aims to create a favourable ecosystem for development of business angel investments in North Macedonia by providing adequate legal framework (Business Angels Law) and establishing business angel networks.
