: Cinesquare project is designed as a unique concept that covers 13 territories in Southeast Europe partnership with local and European partners. Cinesquare launched in 2017 in 13 countries as the first and largest VOD in the AV sector with quality content that covers all the territories of Southeast Europe with potential reach to 140 million people. Most of the films are European; all translated in the languages of the countries. Cinesquare`s key innovation is its ability to use the internet’s capacity, good infrastructure in the region and the habits of the Balkan viewer that is very active online to bring creative cinema to a wider audience. Our subscription-based and ad-based services will launch in December 2018 in order to open more opportunities for content circulation and to attract more users, both for easier approach to a larger content base and for advertising it. The main challenges of the project are: to extend the depth and rotation of the existing European catalog by establishing the first Online Film Festival in these countries, creating Collections, including Children Catalog, Country Focus catalogs, service promotion Channels, festival-to-date and day-and-date releases; and to generate traffic and users with innovative marketing and branding strategies in a course to strengthen our position in the OTT sector in Europe and to fill in the holes in the online distribution market that are evident in this part of Europe. Through the partnership strategy we will increase the content offer, ease the communication with local content providers (for the SVOD model) and local advertising agencies (for the AVOD model). European partners will provide the experience and knowledge they have accumulated in more productive and organized markets.The objective of Cinesquare is to attract a younger audience in order to grow the platform overall audience with integrated multicountry and multiapproach marketing innovative tools and creating events around the VOD.
