: This project, as a part of the Erasmus+ programme includes students as well as support staff, who would get professional and practical training in an experienced and world renowned hosting institution in Barcelona, Spain. The necessity of this project derives from the rapid expansion of the tourism sector in our country, especially in the Ohrid region as well as from the relevance of the modern hospitality and catering services that goes along with it. This indicates that there is a great demand for good quality working force with international experience, particularly in the field of contemporary hotel management.
The participants that will be included in this project are students from hotel management and catering vocation. They do have the possibility to have practical training in hotels and restaurants in our city and region. However, the programs that are implemented in this vocation are oriented towards improving skills by combining theoretical knowledge and practical experience. At the same time, we are aware that the inclusion of IT in all spheres in our life makes this student compatible with many areas that include technology. But professional knowledge is needed in the area of work. Therefor these students will need wider knowledge and skills to equally participate in this mobility.
They will need teaching about hotel management overall as well as separate segments of the hotel work. The project includes 21 students accompanied by 5 teachers from out school.
